Nature always has killers. This porpoise near the Hot Springs had a fatal encounter with a shark. Likewise the fabled reliable wind of Baja’s East Cape often has wind killer lurking to the north and south. But fortunately also nearby are wind promoters. This is one of those days where the big wind machines are absent and we see a hard to forecast battle between the wind killers and the wind promoters.

This graphic shows those wind killers and promoters. My forecast today hinges on those wind promoters winning the battle. But my forecast could be wrong. When that happens I always remember the ancient Baja lore… “Baja, where life is short and the vultures never hunger”
