NOTE: I AM GETTING BOGGED DOWN DOING CUSTOM FORECASTS FOR A GOOGLE PROJECT AND I MAY NOT BE ABLE TO DO LA VENTANA FORECASTS AFTER TODAY.

QuikCast 7:30 AM Thursday.  Jan. 28, 2016: NOTE: Upper teens to weak low 20’s combo of moderate El Norte wind and local thermal winds  Much stronger wind far outside and if the clouds permit this could move to closer to shore.

Onsite reports  from my house atop the bluff  @100 feet overlooking the El Sargento Hot Springs area:

Update #1 @ 7:30 AM: 2-3 foot surf. Calm on bluff and beach. Sub teen wind 1000 feet outside. Mid teens about a mile outside.

Human Forecast & Synopsis: The high pressure  over the 4 corners is weakening so the El Norte winds will be weaker than yesterday. However  IF we get enough inland heating the local thermal pressure gradient will suck that wind closeThe El Nino impacted Sub tropical Jet Stream closer today so clouds are more likely to be an issue at times.
